Mass-conversion to the USE_AUTOTOOLS New World Order.  The code present in bsd.autotools.mk essentially makes this a no-op given that all the old variables set a USE_AUTOTOOLS_COMPAT variable, which is parsed in exactly the same way as USE_AUTOTOOLS itself.

Moreover, USE_AUTOTOOLS has already been extensively tested by the GNOME
team -- all GNOME 2.12.x ports use it.

At Kris's request, back out the MACHINE_ARCH spelling correction until after 5.4-RELEASE.

Assist getting more ports working on AMD64 by obeying the Ports Collection documentation and use 'ARCH' rather than 'MACHINE_ARCH'.

Autotools cleanup.  Remove autoconf257 (259), automake17 (18), and libtool14 (13/15).

- Update to 0.5.57 - Require Autoconf 2.54+ - Switch to dynamic pkg-plist (PLIST_FILES + PORTDOCS)

Replace all known incantations of WANT_{AUTOMAKE,AUTOCONF,LIBTOOL}* with the USE_<x> equivalents.  In the current scheme of things, the WANT_ variables in this case are synonymous with the USE_ ones, and thus need to be exterminated.

First in a series of major autotools cleanups.

Bump PORTREVISION on all ports that depend on gettext to aid with upgrading.

Add dependency on perl5 unconvered by 5.0 pkg build. Bumped PORTREVISION to force this out.

Remove the StUdLyCaPs from maintainer name, 'cause some folks won't realize mail's case insensitive and will try to type that. Sorry folks, purely a cosmetic change here, nothing to see, move along, move along....

Changed MAINTAINER to my FreeBSD address.

Add missing manpage and don't try and remove a system directory on deinstall
