To enable libvirtd please add libvirtd_enable="YES" to /etc/rc.conf. NOTE ON CONFIGURATION: The libvirt port does not come with networking configuration enabled. The 'default' network definition is available at: /usr/local/share/examples/libvirt/networks/default.xml To enable this network please do the following: cp /usr/local/share/examples/libvirt/networks/default.xml /usr/local/etc/libvirt/qemu/networks To configure this network for autostart, execute the following: ln -s ../default.xml /usr/local/etc/libvirt/qemu/networks/autostart/default.xml If you have libvirtd already running you'll need to restart it for changes to take effect. For more details on using libvirt with bhyve please refer to: /usr/local/share/doc/libvirt/html/drvbhyve.html or: http://libvirt.org/drvbhyve.html

devel/libvirt: run virt-host-validate in rc script Update the libvirtd rc script to run virt-host-validate(1) before running libvirtd(8). This command provides information about possibly missing kernel modules required for certain features of libvirtd. Errors and warnings from this tool do not prevent libvirtd(8) from starting as most of the features are optional. devel/libvirt: depend on GNU grep(1) in a more robust way FreeBSD ships native grep(1) implementation in the base for quite a while, so don't bother to check its origin and just request GNU version explicitly like on Darwin (macOS). Depending on `/usr/local/bin/grep' is also wrong because of the hardcoded prefix and because compatibility symlinks are optional (plans are to disable them in the future).1a8a9a832e

itself.

on Python 3.8 too.
