Remove WWW entries moved into port Makefiles Commit b7f05445c00f has added WWW entries to port Makefiles based on WWW: lines in pkg-descr files. This commit removes the WWW: lines of moved-over URLs from these pkg-descr files. Approved by: portmgr (tcberner)fb16dfecae
Add WWW entries to port Makefiles It has been common practice to have one or more URLs at the end of the ports' pkg-descr files, one per line and prefixed with "WWW:". These URLs should point at a project website or other relevant resources. Access to these URLs required processing of the pkg-descr files, and they have often become stale over time. If more than one such URL was present in a pkg-descr file, only the first one was tarnsfered into the port INDEX, but for many ports only the last line did contain the port specific URL to further information. There have been several proposals to make a project URL available as a macro in the ports' Makefiles, over time. This commit implements such a proposal and moves one of the WWW: entries of each pkg-descr file into the respective port's Makefile. A heuristic attempts to identify the most relevant URL in case there is more than one WWW: entry in some pkg-descr file. URLs that are not moved into the Makefile are prefixed with "See also:" instead of "WWW:" in the pkg-descr files in order to preserve them. There are 1256 ports that had no WWW: entries in pkg-descr files. These ports will not be touched in this commit. The portlint port has been adjusted to expect a WWW entry in each port Makefile, and to flag any remaining "WWW:" lines in pkg-descr files as deprecated. Approved by: portmgr (tcberner)b7f05445c0

Unbreak logging by removing a stale patch (which, once upon a time, fixed logging) which wound up re-breaking logging after logging was fixed upstream. I don't use this anymore, so I'm donating it back to ports@.71f22bca0f
Sub ${PREFIX} into the manpage.cf66d495a8r428809 was, of course, not the right way to fix libssl linkage. marino had the right solution, which is to use the appropriate OPTIONS helper, which puts -L${OPENSSLLIB} in early enough that linkage works correctly.f1a65313c4Make installation of help files and scripts configurable by options. Enable the EMACS_KEYS option by default. PORTREVISION bump for that change.25b84c5efe
Fix build against SSL from ports. The -L${ICONV_PREFIX}/lib prevents cc from finding the correct libcrypto/libssl, so quick-fix this by only adding -L${ICONV_PREFIX}/lib if it's something other than /usr/lib.
Also, use USES=ssl. PORTREVISION bump for the potential ldd change.c64bb13b46irc/ircII: document ncurses requirement (USES+=ncurses) approved by: infrastructure blanket93d87c6f3a

Reset the 99 ports still listed under sylvio@ Sylvio's last commit was 17 months ago, a full 5 months after all of his ports could have been reset per policy. Given the push to complete staging (48 ports are still unstaged, something like 70+ have already been staged by other committers) and given that PRs are automatically assigned but never addressed, it's better just to reset all the ports and PRs so that it's clear to others that these ports are free to maintain. Removing the distfile from my personal FreeBSD space, now that the distfile has been stored in the FreeBSD distfile repo.08505c4347
I'm temporarily mirroring the distfile due to perpetual misconfiguration of the ircii.warped.com server, to feed it to the FreeBSD distfile collection.3802009747
Update to 20111115. I've also changed the MASTER_SITES. Both listed ftp sites are unreachable. The new MASTER_SITE works at times, but they have grossly misconfigured their routers so access is sketchy at best, YMMV. Hopefully FreeBSD can fetch the sources and mirror the distfile. If not, I'll have to upload it to a usable server. PR: ports/165489 Approved by: maintainer timeout (over 3 months)194565a6e0
