graphics/opencv: back out r423216 and r423063 (replaying r423316) Renaming didn't help to unblock 3.x progress as co-existence with 2.x was no less complex than simply fixing consumers. This commit also restores directory-level history accidentally lost via git-svn. PR: 210505 Pointy hat to: jbeich (should've discussed first)d764059958

Bump PORTREVISIONS for ports depending on the canonical version of GCC and lang/gcc which have moved from GCC 4.8.5 to GCC 4.9.4 (at least under some circumstances such as versions of FreeBSD or platforms). In particular that is ports with USE_GCC=yes, USE_GCC=any, or one of gcc-c++11-lib, openmp, nestedfct, c++11-lib as well as c++14-lang, c++11-lang, c++0x, c11 requested via USES=compiler.89f8b05214
graphics/opencv: add suffix to make room for 3.x series To avoid confusion, the main port is to track the latest release. Whether to rename includes/libraries as well making it possible to install 2.x and 3.x side-by-side remains to be investigated. PR: 210505 (for tracking) Inspired by: PkgSrcba3ffd9b12

Obtained from: gnome devel repo7b97259096By default libtool replaces -export-symbols <file> with -retain-symbols-file <file> on ELF systems, but this doesn't really do what -export-symbols is meant to do. On GNU ELF systems it converts <file> to a simple version script first and then uses -version-script instead of -retain-symbols-file. Let USES=libtool patch libtool scripts to do this on all systems with GNU ld(1). Bump PORTREVISION on all ports where the build log contains -export-symbols. audio/calf: This port builds a module that now exports only one function, but it also builds a number of executables that link to this module and expect to see other functions. Because it's already a bit dodgy to link to a module (libtool warns about this) let the module continue to export only one function and instead build an ordinary library from the same source that the executables can link to. Fix a number of other issues in the same Makefile.am and clean up the port Makefile. japanese/scim-honoka: Tries to hide all symbols that start with an underscore, but because this library is written in C++ all symbols start with _Z so it ends up hiding everything. Just don't hide anything at all like the textproc/scim configure script does. multimedia/schroedinger: Apply an upstream patch. textproc/scim-input-pad: Same as japanese/scim-honoka. multimedia/x264: General overhaul - Split x264 into two ports: the CLI application (x264), and the library (libx264). This will allow x264 to use lavf and friends from ffmpeg for decoding and demuxing while preventing a circular dependency between the two: x264 can depend on ffmpeg, but ffmpeg will depend on libx264 rather than x264. - Add the LAVF option to the CLI port, making the dependency on ffmpeg optional. - Update to 0.142.2455. - Amend fixes to local patches so that they can apply to the new upstream files. - Provide the git revision and other version information to the build environment, allowing the CLI binary to display this information (like the Windows builds). - Remove unsupported build options (X11_OUTPUT). - Ensure that the library and CLI ports each have the appropriate options. - Add notes for future contributors who wish to update the ports. - Bump PORTREVISION for all dependent ports. Fix LIB_DEPENDS on mjpegtools. Reported by: jenkins (swills)834ddf0e25
Update gstreamer 1.0 ports to version 1.2.4.ce5a9a5d44
When linking a library libA with a library libB using libtool, if libB.la exists, libtool will add all libraries libB.la refers to (dependency_libs field) to the linker command line and store them in the dependency_libs field of libA.la. So everything that subsequently links with libA will also link to these extra libraries. This causes too much overlinking. This commit modifies Mk/Uses/libtool.mk so it empties the dependency_libs field in .la libraries during staging. However, because .la libraries have very limited use when dependency_libs is empty it makes sense to completely remove them during staging. So with this commit USES=libtool is modified to remove .la libraries and a new form (USES=libtool:keepla) is introduced in case they need to be kept (dependency_libs is still emptied). PORTREVISION is bumped on all ports with USES=libtool that install .la libraries. Most ports are also changed to add :keepla because .la libraries have to be kept around as long as there are dependent ports with .la libraries that refer to them in their dependency_libs field. In most cases :keepla can be removed again as soon as all dependent ports that install .la libraries have some form of USES=libtool added to their Makefile. The FreeBSD x11@ and graphics team proudly presents a zeising, kwm production, with help from dumbbell, bdrewery: NEW XORG ON FREEBSD 9-STABLE AND 10-STABLE This update switches over to use the new xorg stack by default on FreeBSD 9 and 10 stable, on osversions where vt(9) is available. It is still possible to use the old stack by specifying WITHOUT_NEW_XORG in /etc/make.conf . FreeBSD 8-STABLE and released versions of FreeBSD still use the old version. A package repository with binary packages for new xorg will be available soon. This patch also contains updates of libxcb and related ports, pixman, as well as some drivers and utilities. Bump portrevisions for xf86-* ports, as well as virtualbox-ose-additions due to xserver version change. Apart from these updates, the way shared libraries are handled has been changed for all xorg ports, as well as libxml2 and freetype, which means ltverhack is gone and as a consequence shared libraries have been bumped. The plan is that this change will make library bumps less likely in the future. All affected ports have had their portrevisions bumped as a consequence of this. Fix some issues where WITH_NEW_XORG weren't detected properly on CURRENT. Update instructions, hardware support, and more notes can be found on https://wiki.freebsd.org/Graphics Thanks to: all testers, bdrewery and the FreeBSD x11@ team exp-run by: bdrewery [1] PR: ports/187602 [1] Approved by: portmgr (bdrewery), core (jhb)39fc32e828
