Remove # $FreeBSD$ from Makefiles.305f148f48
Remove all := from BUILD_DEPENDS, here are never needed.
While there, cleanup, and sort depends.
When build and run dependencies are the same, there are three ways to
avoid duplicating the list while not adding the framework added
BUILD_DEPENDS to the RUN_DEPENDS. In order of preference, they are:
1) use RUN_DEPENDS to set BUILD_DEPENDS:
BUILD_DEPENDS= ${RUN_DEPENDS}
RUN_DEPENDS= foo:bar/baz
2) create another variable and use it:
MY_DEPENDS= foo:bar/baz
BUILD_DEPENDS= ${MY_DEPENDS}
RUN_DEPENDS= ${MY_DEPENDS}
3) use BUILD_DEPENDS to set RUN_DEPENDS and force evaluation:
BUILD_DEPENDS= foo:bar/baz
RUN_DEPENDS:= ${BUILD_DEPENDS}

Clean up the rest of the perl@ Makefiles a bit.
- Remove dependencies on modules distributed as part of perl core
- Remove references to FreeBSD < 8 and perl < 5.16
- Ensure that DOCS and EXAMPLES options exist for ports installing
PORTDOCS or PORTEXAMPLES
- Reduce unnecessary inclusions of bsd.port.options.mk by using
OPTIONS helpers and the like
- Fix some cases where dependencies were only assigned to BUILD_DEPENDS
- Fix a few of the cases where dependencies were only assigned to RUN_DEPENDS.
This one happens in many, many ports. I only applied it in cases where
it interfered with 'make test' but it should maybe be done more generally.
- Mute ${MKDIR} in installation
- Parethesize compound commands
- In www/p5-URI-Fetch, remove the ZLIB option that wasn't used10f22ecd6dChange the way Perl modules are installed, update the default Perl to 5.18. Before, we had: site_perl : lib/perl5/site_perl/5.18 site_perl/perl_arch : lib/perl5/site_perl/5.18/mach perl_man3 : lib/perl5/5.18/man/man3 Now we have: site_perl : lib/perl5/site_perl site_arch : lib/perl5/site_perl/mach/5.18 perl_man3 : lib/perl5/site_perl/man/man3 Modules without any .so will be installed at the same place regardless of the Perl version, minimizing the upgrade when the major Perl version is changed. It uses a version dependent directory for modules with compiled bits. As PERL_ARCH is no longer needed in plists, it has been removed from PLIST_SUB. The USE_PERL5=fixpacklist keyword is removed, the .packlist file is now always removed, as is perllocal.pod. The old site_perl and site_perl/arch directories have been kept in the default Perl @INC for all Perl ports, and will be phased out as these old Perl versions expire. The vast majority of pkg-descr files had the following format when they had both lines: Author: ... WWW: .... So standardize on that, and move them to the end of the file when necessary. Also fix some more whitespace, and remove more "signature tags" of varying forms, like -- name, etc. s/AUTHOR/Author/ A few other various formatting issues989772c9ac

Set USE_PERL5/WANT_PERL as appropriate, for ports that either depend on perl unconditonally, or conditionally. To be able to conditionalize the inclusion of bsd.perl.mk, they now need to be defined before the inclusion of bsd.port.pre.mk. Hat: portmgr581e69adb2
